Network Time Protocol by Meinberg Global is a Network & Internet / Timers & Time Synchronise utility that equips Windows systems with the reference NTP daemon without manual compilation. The package wraps the official ntp.org source in a graphical installer that deploys the background service, command-line tools, HTML documentation and the OpenSSL libcrypto DLL needed for optional symmetric or public-key packet authentication. Once installed, the software lets workstations, servers, domain controllers or virtual machines synchronise their clocks to public or private NTP sources, eliminating drift that can break log correlation, Kerberos tickets, database replication, digital signatures, scheduled tasks, regulatory time-stamping and industrial control sequences. Administrators can configure broadcast, multicast or manycast modes, enable orphan mode for isolated networks, apply cryptographic protection against spoofed packets, and monitor offset, jitter and stability through the built-in ntpq and ntpdc utilities. Two concurrent versions are maintained: the current 4.2.8p18a2 release, which continues the proven 4.2 branch, and a legacy 2.x line for older platforms, both updated in step with the upstream reference implementation. Network Time Protocol is available for free on get.nero.com, with downloads supplied through trusted Windows package sources such as winget, always delivering the latest build and supporting batch installation of multiple applications.
